I told you work sucks. Want to know why exactly?! I have bruises. My legs are bruised. I have at least 15 bruises - all shiny blue and green.
So much about wearing a skirt on a sunny day. *grr*
Most of the bruises are really small despite the one on my left claf which is quite big and yellow and blue and green and purple. Did I mention how much that sucks?!
The bruises are caused by carrying and putting away bottles, boxes,... everything which is too heavy for me in a supermarket. Either that or someone likes to threw something at me while I'm sleeping.
AND more important than ugly bruises: I just finished reading "Guilty Pleasures - An Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter Novel" by Laurell K. Hamilton. Thank so much to
faith1922 for reccing. :) It's awesomely awesome.
If Anita doesn't want to date Jean-Claude I'd be happy to do it. *rofl* Just kidding...
The book was great - mysterious, amusing, thrilling, sexy, interesting,... I can't wait to read the next book. *happy to have a new fandom* Maybe...
But it's definitely a great start for a series of books because Hamilton introduces the reader to a whole new world. With Vampires as a more or less established part of the society and most important to Anita Blake - the Animator - the Executioner. That girl is witty, honest and human - not just some super-cool superhero girl. She can win and lose like every other human (or not so human) being.
Enough now. ;)
Have a nice day. :D
